Sandy, a young shut in, leaves her apartment excited for a rare opportunity to make a new friend. After being ditched, she finds herself on an aimless, wandering journey across her small Maritime city.

Ryan O’Toole is a 25-year-old filmmaker from New Brunswick, Canada currently based in New York City. His work has been showcased at film festivals internationally and broadcast on Canadian television. His short film On the Last Day won five awards (including Best Short Film and the Audience Choice Award) at the 2012 Silver Wave Film Festival. During the 2013-14 academic year he served as the Media Artist-in-Residence at the University of New Brunswick. His most recent film, the award-winning Pop, was presented at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival by Telefilm Canada as part of their Not Short on Talent program and out of competition as part of Made in Canada at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. He is currently an MA candidate at the New School in New York City.
